A September Wedding in Waupaca County / Central Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Nicole and Damian got married on a perfect September day! We started our day with Nicole and her bridesmaids at Studio 212 in downtown Waupaca, Wisconsin. From there we went to the family's lake house which was on the beautiful Chain O Lakes. After getting dressed, it was time to head to Manawa!

The ceremony and reception were both held at the beautiful Masonic Center on Bridge Street in Manawa. After the ceremony we snuck down to Lindsay Park on the Little Wolf River for portraits. When we arrived back at the Masonic Center - it was party time. Nicole and Damian have an amazing network of family and friends who had a great time dancing the night away celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs.

Nicole and Damian - we wish you all the best. Thank you for choosing us to photograph your day. It was just perfect!

A Northwoods Wedding at Stout's Island Lodge / Central Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Heather and Paul's Northwoods wedding at Stout's Island Lodge in Birchwood Wisconsin was absolutely fabulous. The details were perfectly planned and the emotions 100% genuine. After a beautiful late afternoon ceremony on the South Lawn, guests enjoyed games and cocktail hour while the newlyweds took a boat cruise around Red Cedar Lake. Stout's Island Lodge was a gorgeous venue for a summer wedding. The guest lodges were unique, the food gourmet, and the vintage lawn games and nightly bonfires reminiscent of times long past. After a wonderful party, guests released wish lanterns over the lake and enjoyed a final bonfire. We couldn't have been more honored to photograph Heather and Paul's wedding and wish them a lifetime of happiness and adventure.

Mallory + Colin = Married / Wausau, WI Wedding Photographer

Mallory and Colin's wedding day was nothing short of beautiful. The couple met at the Marathon County Fair when Colin was in the States on business. The two fell in love and got married at the Grand Theater in Wausau, Wisconsin followed by a reception in the Great Hall. The weather was perfect, the venue gorgeous, the details well thought-out and the couple was so incredibly happy. Some of our favorite details were the lego people place-card holders, and the creatively named cupcakes - "Wookies and Cream!" The wedding was a fun blend of Wisconsin and Canadian traditions. Mallory and Colin and their wedding party were all so relaxed and fun and their guests clearly had a fabulous time. We wish them all the best in love and in life and thank them for choosing us to photograph their wedding day.

Ruth + Tim = Married / Wausau, WI Wedding Photographer

Ruth and Tim married one another on a blustery October day in beautiful Wausau, WI. They met while studying abroad in Germany. Ruth is a Wisconsinite, while Tim hales all the way from Australia. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful blend of the families' traditions. There were Wisconsin entrees on the menu, custom cross-word puzzles tucked into each napkin, plenty of thoughtful toasts and a traditional Scottish dance during the reception. The reception was held at the beautiful Greenwood Hills Country Club and the colors were almost at peak. The biggest thing that stands out to us almost a month later is simply how happy everyone was. Ruth and Tim are two well-loved people with a tremendous tribe of family and friends surrounding them. We wish them all the best in life and love and know they have quite an adventure ahead of them. Thank you for sharing your day with us!

Mathew + Caroline = Married / Manawa, WI Wedding Photographer

Mathew and Caroline got married in beautiful Manawa, Wisconsin in early September. The ceremony was at Ferg's Bavarian Village with a reception following at the Manawa Masonic Center.

Relatives joined the couple from around the world to celebrate their special day. Caroline is from Germany, while Mathew is a Wisconsin native. They selected traditional clothing for their wedding while they were in Germany this past summer, and hosted a celebration that is sure to be remembered by their guests for the rest of their lives. From the horse drawn carriage to the gingerbread cookies, no detail was overlooked. Shelly from Signature Events was the couple's wedding coordinator and was a delight to meet. We wish Mathew and Caroline a lifetime of happiness together!

Cassie + Andrew = Married / Fond du Lac, WI Wedding Photographer

Cassie and Andrew got married on August 30th 2014.  The ceremony and reception were both at the beautiful South Hills Country Club in Fond Du Lac, WI. From the old fashioned candy bar to the gorgeous cake it was obvious that a lot of attention was given to the little details. Then there were the things they didn't plan - we adored those even more. The look that Cassie's dad had on his face when he saw her the first time, the words of their best friends. The speeches given during dinner that were a true testament not only of the love they have for one another, but the love they share with their family and friends. It was touching to hear the words of those closet to them. Everyone should be so lucky.

The weather was a challenge throughout the day, but nothing took away Cassie's beautiful smile. We were honored to be present as she and Andrew tied the knot and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

Cassie and Andrew opted to have a "first look" before the ceremony. We love the looks on their faces as they saw one another for the first time on their wedding day!

Danielle and Greg's Madison Wedding / Madison, Wisconsin Wedding Photographer
DGW_0084.jpg

On this blustery winter day, we felt it appropriate to post a Friday Flashback! Danielle and Greg got married in Madison, Wisconsin in 2011. The day began with a "first look" at Allen Centennial Gardens.  After a beautiful service at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, we headed down to Lake Monona for bridal party portraits.

The reception was at the Monona Community Center - family and friends celebrated well into the evening. One of my favorite details was the cupcake display - complete with the bride's parent's wedding cake topper!

Jeremy grew up in the Madison area, and loves going "home" to photograph weddings there - it is within our standard service area so no extra travel fees apply! To Danielle and Greg - thank you for sharing your wedding day with us!

Anna + Luke = Married / Waupaca, WI Wedding Photographer

It's a winter weekend wedding flashback!  Anna and Luke got married in Waupaca, Wisconsin in 2007 - long before we lived here (and long before we had a blog!) The ceremony was at Trinity Lutheran church in Waupaca. After the service, we stopped at one of our favorite Waupaca landmarks, The Red Mill. The bridal party was just as happy as the couple and super fun to work with. After portraits, we headed over to the  Waupaca Ale House for their reception. Anna and Luke were such a wonderful couple to work with and we wish them a (belated) happy 6th anniversary!

Emily + James = Married / Waupaca area Wedding Photographer

EJS FB Blog-0014.jpg

Our first wedding as Studio 455 Photography was on a very  cold July day.  Emily and James hosted their wedding at their home in Almond, WI.  They grew many of their flowers, built their own arbor and added their personal touch to everything.  Friends and family traveled in from all over the country, and by the end of the day I think everyone had shed at least a tear or two. The love they have for each other is so visible!  We are so happy for them and so honored to have been part of their day. Here are just a few of our favorite moments!
